Inventor - Feeding Tube
Bessie Blount was a nurse during the second World War. She invented a feeding tube to help injured veterans feed themselves after observing them struggle with this daily task. Her invention was eventually sold to Belgium and paved the way for the modern day feeding tubes we see around the world.
