Our Story

Histocards were created by a mother and wife that wanted to find creative ways to teach her five year old son  about the great achievements of people "like him".  

In researching African American history, she found that she was inspired by the untold stories of everyday people that had done amazing things. This new found knowledge inspired her to create a way to help her son remember the information. She shared the vision with her father, a graphic designer, and Histocards were born.  

Ultimately, she believed that all children should be inspired and proud of who they are and decided to expand Histocards to cover multiple cultures.
